Cost to look like Kate Middleton

I don't know anyone that doesn't like Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge{fancy!} aka Kate Middleton. She has an amazing wardrobe, I mean, what I wouldn't give for her closet!  She jet sets around the world on "royal business", is married to the future King of England, and jokes it up with the Queen, quite the life! She always looks so effortless and gorgeous but according to some new reports she pays a pretty penny to look like a princess! Today I'm breaking down what it would cost you and me to look like Kate everyday.

{gorg wedding hair}
Hair-
Kate is a regular at the Richard Ward Hair and Metrospa salon. She supposedly goes in for a cut every 6 weeks which costs her about $200 per cut. She receives Keratin treatments and color maintenance, as well as 3, $75 blowouts per week. {That's $11,700 for the year in blowouts! Ouch!}
All that to keep her hair shiny and gorgeous! Estimated at $18,000 per year! Eeek!

{flawless face}
Makeup-
She did her own makeup for her wedding but she wasn't using any drugstore brands, thats for sure! Some of her favorite products are listed as YSL's Touche Eclat Radiant Touch, and Bobbi Brown Foundation.
$1,200 worth of products a year. While expensive I could see this if you use top of the line products everyday and always had a full face from concealer to eyeliner.

{glowing skin on her 30th birthday}
Skin-
The managing director for Swiss skincare line, Karin Herzog has come out and said that they are the duchesses go to skin line. She also has been going to get the Bee Sting Facial by Deborah Mitchell with Mother-in-law, Camilla Parker-Bowles. This facial runs a cool $3,120 per year if gotten each month as suggested.
{gotta have great nails to show off that ring!}
Nails-
She has got to keep that ring on beautifully manicured fingers, her bi-weekely manicures run her a estimated $3,500 per year. Keeping her fingers ready for those royal handshakes sure isn't cheap!

{tan in California}
Tanning-
Kate always seems to have a glow about her...and we know jolly 'ole London doesn't usually get great bikini weather. Well the gloom and smog isn't stopping this princess, looks like she doesn't miss a spray tan appointment costing her $2,800 per year.

{no yellow teeth here!}
Smile-
It is widely known that where kate is so is the paparazzi, so she can not be seen with typical "british" teeth! Orthodontist Dr. Didier Fillion said he was the one to close the gap in her front teeth using a new 3-d technology. This service is estimated by The Daily Mail to have cost $7,157. Plus some for whitening treatments. No Crest White Strips for Duchess Catherine!

{I'd smile with these two by my side too}
Grand Total-
 $36,300 a year!

Woooo, then you get into that to die for designer wardrobe! Being a princess sure gets expensive! Have a great Tuesday! Don't forget this Thursday's I Do Recap! It will be all the pictures with my hubby from our first look. :) Sorry for today's late post, crazy busy at the workplace!

Ralph Lauren decor

I love Ralph Lauren, I love that his clothes are classic and simple. His collections truly pass the test of time. With that said, it's no surprise that his Manhattan apartment is the epitome of streamlined simplicity.

First: a great LBD from Ralph Lauren.

 Now: a look into his home from the fabulous Elle

Happy Friday!

Oh Gameday, we meet again...

I get really excited for gameday, really, really excited. By this I mean I wake up at the crack of dawn, jump to my feet and scream, "IT'S GAMEDAY! AHH!" I then proceed to run around all day, go to tailgates, go to friends houses, watch the different games of the day, laugh and think oh how much I love gameday. Until it happens, I crash. All too often do I get right up to the gates of Bryant-Denny only to crash so hard I have to take a nap. This sometimes occurs before the game I'm so excited to see is even over. This is a big problem I have, I know. So this morning when I woke up feeling ready to take on gameday I had a vision of it happening again, which is not okay! Therefore I have decided to make a conscious effort and take it slow ensuring I make it to our 8pm kick-off tonight. Happy Gameday!

Just incase you haven't found your perfect gameday dress you still have time before kick-off! Here are some great Alabama inspired picks.
